Background Art for Child Rights and You

Child Rights and You (CRY) is an Indian non-governmental organization that works towards ensuring children's rights.

We were tasked with creating a limited animation for an upcoming documentary, highlighting the story of the kids from Shahbad Dairy, a slum in New Delhi, and how they advocated for their right to better educational facilities with the help of Saksham Society, a programme by CRY.

These are some of the backgrounds created for the project. The overall look and feel is meant to mimic washed-out watercolor artwork drawn by young artists.
